Aeon Must Die

A short overview of what we know so far about “Aeon Must Die”.

“The ruthless, grim but colorful world looks and feels like that ridiculous action-packed anime VHS tape your parents heavily disapproved of” is how it is described on the official website of the game.

It is a “beat-em-up” with an innovative game system that constantly keeps you thinking and pushes you to be creative with how you approach every encounter.

The protagonist of the game is symbiotically connected to a powerful but evil emperor of the past and rides a sentient hover bike through a dark but captivating and colorful world.

The game has no HUD to keep the player focused on the action.

It also is said to have an RPG alignment system where dialogue choices will affect the story and lead to one of five different endings.

Along your journey you will encounter biker gangs that you can either destroy or subdue to eventually face off against some sort of assassin that stalks you throughout the game like the nemesis from Resident Evil. The game is set to release somewhere in 2021 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
